Hi,
My 14 year old niece will be visiting NYC for the first time in April. She really enjoys thrift shops. Any recommendations for best thrift shops for her age group? We%26#39;ll be staying in Seacaucus, New Jersey but I assume that the best thrift shops are in NYC? Thanks for your suggestions!

Dear ';Crans';,
Thank you so very much for your excellent recommendations! I look forward to visiting NYC, now more than ever!
Love,
The Niece
You%26#39;re right %26#39;The Niece%26#39; ..... our Cranster really does make ';excellent recommendations';. But if you find yourself in %26#39;Beacon%26#39;s Closet%26#39; trying on an old leather jacket or granny dress then you might also like to a few other places also in the nabe. Williamsburg is like the epicenter of %26#39;hipdom%26#39; which also make the center of the world of vintage clothing.

%26#39;Buffalo Exchange%26#39; which is also right in the area of %26#39;Beacon%26#39;s Closet%26#39; is also especially popular.

But if you get off the train on Bedford Avenue on the %26#39;L%26#39; train then walk along the avenue and you%26#39;ll see a few others. Read the above links but also add these to your list.

Dear Lotuspath,
Thanks for your feedback. I will definitely check into these sites amd hopefully avoid oversize granny attire, at all costs.

bebedawl, what a great site!
Hey guys,
Thanks for all your input on the best thrift shops to visit in NYC. We%26#39;re planning on going to Hell%26#39;s Kitchen Flea Market on Saturday (is it worth it?!), and we were wondering if there are any good, cheap thrift shops close by? If not, should we go directly to SoHo?
Thanks for helping us clueless tourists out!
