Century 21---Other stores like it?

I%26#39;m a bargain-shopper and enjoy visiting Century 21. Are there other stores like it? I%26#39;m from Boston, so we have Filene%26#39;s Basement, Marshalls, TJ Maxx, Macys, etc., so I%26#39;m looking for uniquely-NYC bargain haunts.

Any ideas?

Loehmann%26#39;s, Syms, and Daffy Dan%26#39;s [which I myself wouldn%26#39;t bother with since it has gone seriously downhill imo] are small chains that originated in the NYC metro area that I don%26#39;t think you have up there in the Bay State.

However, there is really nothing like Century 21

Loehmann%26#39;s is a NYC classic, but if you go to the one in Manhattan, it might remind you of Filene%26#39;s, TJ Maxx, etc.

I must admit that nothing compares to the Marshalls stores you have in the Boston area suburbs. They are AWESOME! (Or should I say ';wicked';?)

Of course, they%26#39;ve destroyed our (original) Filene%26#39;s Basement, though. It was a beautifully grungy, fantastically funky, delightfully dingy treasuretrove of bargains right in the center of downtown Boston and...now they%26#39;re ';renovating.'; Hmmm.
