Recently someone, and I can%26#39;t remember who deserves the credit, suggested that we should explore our own cities and states. Well you inspired me. Using my birthday as an excuse, my husband %26amp; I just spent a great weekend in our capital city, Austin, Texas! Without boring you with the details I will say we ate some great food, soaked up some of the unique vibe/atmosphere that is strictly found in Austin, and did a tour of our capitol building. Neither one of us had set foot in the capitol since we were kids. We enjoyed our day and a half immensely. This wouldn%26#39;t have been possible without the great advice from this forum. Thank you!!

I definitely plan to do a trip report and review the restaurant we went to last night. It was featured a couple of times on the Diners, Drive-In%26#39;s and Dives that Guy Fieri does on the Food Network.

You can find mine, too, if you want. We went there in Oct. 2008 for my cousin%26#39;s daughter%26#39;s wedding. I suppose if you type ';cousin%26#39;s daughter%26#39;s wedding'; in the Austin forum search box, it%26#39;ll pop up.
