Hello
We are coming to NYC on March 22nd and have planned most of our day sights.
We want to see Lion King, and have tried to book tickets on broadway.com, but we can%26#39;t see the exactly seats before paying? I think it is difficult to choose between front mezzanine and orchestra, when we don%26#39;t know the seats? Any recommendations? Which place is better? And can we book at another site which is cheaper and/or tells us the exactly seats we are getting?
The other question is about stand up/comedy clubs... We love stand up, and wants to see some of the best in NYC (maybe someone famous:)) Where is that, and where can we buy tickets - we have to do that right?
Another small question is that we want to see a movie at ziegfeld (if it is a good movie when we are in NYC) but I can%26#39;t see the programme for the period March 22 - March 29, where can I see it?
Hope someone can help us:) It is difficult to find out about all this in Denmark...

Here is the link to purchase LK tickets from the official seller:

2 questions: Stand up and tickets to Lion King
I believe Mezzanine is balcony, and Orchestra is the area downstairs. It took me some time to figure out as well ^^
Here you can find the seating chart of the Minskoff theatre, where the Lion King is being performed:
newyorkcitytheatre.com/theaters/minskoffthea鈥?/a>
I choose mezzanine, row 1, smack in the middle, because I love balcony seats. But yet again I have no idea how far away you are from the stage.....
As for commedy clubs a thread like this will give you more info:

And for sure there are more topics about this subject, if you try the search gadget of this forum.
I reserved 2 places at the Comedy Cellar. I didn%26#39;t have to pay in advance, apparently they just jot donw your name. I%26#39;m going to reconfirm a week ahead, though...
Good luck!
Thank you, I have now looked at ticketmaster! But I can%26#39;t get tickets for the front row at the mezzanine, so is it best to get seats at 3rd-4th row at the mezzanine, or in the orchestra? We want a great overall view, but also an unobstructed view...
The Lion King is sold out for the week of March 22, so you will not be able to purchase face value tickets through Ticketmaster. So the tickets being sold via Broadway Box are from ticket brokers who are offering their inventory at a marked-up price.
Many of the ticket brokers decline to make known the actual location of the seats, but you can ask Broadway Box to show you just the available tickets with known seat locations. On this page, see the little box that says ';exact seat location';? Leave the check mark in that box -- or click the box so that a check mark appears, if it%26#39;s not already there:
broadwaybox.com/shows/the_lion_king_nyc_tick鈥?/a>
There are identifiable seats available for that week: in the orchestra section, for an average price of about $175 each.
The Ziegfeld, like most movie theatres here, doesn%26#39;t release its movie schedule until Thursday or Friday. So, you may not be able to find out what%26#39;s playing the week of March 22 until Friday, March 20.
CockleCove, I%26#39;m not sure what site you%26#39;re looking at when you say this show is sold out.
I checked several dates during the week of March 22 before I posted the ticketmaster link and there were tickets available for every performance.
CockleCove: I have also seen tickets to every show that week at the mezzanine on ticketmaster, I just don%26#39;t know if this it is best to have seats in the orchestra or the mezzanine?
I have also looked at the link with comedy clubs! But now we are more confused... Is there a club where the performers are better than the others? And what is the March Madness all-stars at Gotham comedy club?
If you can get aisle seats in the Orchestra for The Lion King, those would be best. If not,the Front Mezzanine is fine.
I can%26#39;t explain the different results: I asked Ticketmaster to find 2 tickets, any location, at any price (other than the Premium seats) for any performance in March, and the search results page told me nothing was available. I just tried it again -- with no greater success. Maybe my searches have just coincided with a computer system glitch.
I can get at the mezzanine in row D, or in the orchestra at row Q seat 9 and 11 (but thats to the very left, isn%26#39;t it bad to see the show from here?)
I don%26#39;t know how you are saying this in english, but the rows in the mezzanine, are they going up? So that you are not looking in to the head in front of you? You now, like in cinema the row in front of you is a little more down, so you can see better? Is it also like this on the mezzanine, so i can see well from row D? It was difficult to write, but hope you understand me:)
CockleCove: It is very strange, because when I try like you, any perfomance for March, there are no tickets availible! But if I try for example March 26, I can get tickets on the mezzanine row D setas 132-133, very strange...
But how are these seats?
