Outlet shopping centre between NY and Boston?

Hi,

we will be in NY and Boston on vacation in the beginning of April.

We are renting a car and drive first from Manhattan to Newport and Cape Cod.

Is there a large outlet shopping mall somewhere by the road between NYC and Newport?

There are 2 outlet malls in Connecticut which would be on the way from NYC to Newport.

In Westbrook Ct on I-95 there is an outlet mall (Tanger Outlets) and in Clinton Ct on I-95 Clinton Premium Outlets.

There may be others, I know that in Wrentham, MA there is a big outlet mall - but that is not on the way to Newport or is it????
