JFK to hotel fare

HI! WE are two couple travelling to New York and staying at Hotel 373, manhattan. We have a decent luggage- 4 large suitcase 2 small bags.

What is the best and most economical way of reaching hotel from JFK.

Got some info about super shuttle but they charge $65 for 4 of us.

pls suggest.

JFK to hotel fare

Just take a cag - $45 fixed fare plus toll and tip. Works out the same as getting the Airtrain then Long Island Rail Raod and much less hassle.

JFK to hotel fare

Not a cag - a cab.

Super Shuttle is AWFUL. Either take a regular yellow NYC taxi which will be $45 plus toll and tip or ~$60 total (you can try to get a minivan taxi for a bit more space) or order a car service for about the same price

The flat rate for a NYC yellow taxi to or from JFK an all points in Manhttan is $45, plus tip, plus any tolls. This is per car, not per person, and no charge for luggage. It%26#39;s a great deal for you!

Many people do not like Super Shuttle b/c it takes forever waiting for the bus to fill up and waiting to go to everybody%26#39;s hotel (usually before yours!), and the drivers can be really, really rude.

As was said, take a NYC yellow taxi from the taxi stand (line/queue/rank.)

NEVER accept a ride from anyone offering limos or rides near aiport exit. They are rip-offs and those guys usually take advantage of ignorant, unsuspecting tourists.

When you get to the taxi stand, tell the dispatcher you need a minivan (caravan). You might have to wait a few minutes, but you%26#39;ll get one.

At the top of this forum is a FAQ ';sticky'; that address the most popuarl queries, like this one. Here%26#39;s the page about aiport transit:
