Looking for some ideas for a few unique lunch experiences in New York City.
Not necessarily really pricey...just really unique and different from what one would find anywhere else. Could be pizza, hot dogs, fancy stuff, whatever...
Thank you!

There are quite a few very upscale restaurants that serve a prix fixe lunch for a lot less than their normal lunch or dinner. Some of my favorites
Le Bernardin French seafood $62/person plus tax, tip and drinks--near MOMA and Rockefeller Center
Asiate French/Asian fusion great views from the 35th floor of the Time Warner building (in the Mandarin Oriental hotel) $24/person Mon-Fri--near southwest end of Central Park
Bouley French downtown in Tribeca (not far from Wall st.)
Caviar Russe French (and sushi) hidden on the 2nd floor in an unassuming building not far from St. Patrick%26#39;s cathedral and Saks.
Other popular ones are
Gotham Bar %26amp; Grill
Union Square Cafe
Gramercy Tavern
Favorite cheap lunch is Gray%26#39;s Papaya hot dogs -2 hot dogs and a drink for $4.75
Cafe Sabarsky is a Viennese restaurant in beautiful old townhouse that%26#39;s a museum (Neue Gallery) near Metropolitan Museum.
