Luggage on Metro North to New Haven

At the end of our visit to New York next month, we intend travelling to New Haven on Metro North. Can anyone please inform me if there are any luggage storage facilities on this route, or if luggage may be a problem?

The only option luggage racks above the seats; alternately, if the conductor allows, large pieces can be left in foyer near the doors of the car. There are no luggage cars as such! If you are used to traveing with lots of bags - maybe you should rethink your packing.

Thank you Poppa. Would the luggage racks be capable of holding two ';normal'; sized suitcases, or would they be deemed to be too big?

';';normal';'; well we have a couple of just a bit bigger than allowable for carry-on with wheels and they fit fine.

The racks will accommodate most people%26#39;s luggage - should be no problem!
