My daughter wants to walk the Brooklyn Bridge this weekend to celebrate her birthday, does anyone know if you can park your car near it as we will be coming in from the island. any help would be greatly appreciated
Brooklyn Bridge this weekend
If I remember correctly, there are parking garages on both sides of the bridge. But they%26#39;re still a good 10-15 minute walk from the bridge. Just a warning, parking rates will probably be really expensive. You might want to think about taking the LIRR into the city. But if you have to drive, park on the Brooklyn side as it%26#39;ll be cheaper.

Parking of course means that you are now on the other
side of the bridge from where you want to be and you
have to either walk back or take a subway.
Solution find a parking spot on street in Brooklyn
heights. Hop the A train at High Street. Take one
stop to Manhattan and then find Entrance to bridge to
walk back to Brooklyn to retrieve you car. Or reverse
and park in Manhattan.
