Chinese food cartons

Quick question- i will be visiting New York later this year.

From programmes and films i notice that when you have a chinese takeaway i notice that the food appears to come in cardboard(?) food cartons which you use to eat out of- is this the case with all chinese food in N.Y?

In the UK whenwe get a takeaway where i live it come in tin foil cartons with liads- i have always fancied getting a takeaway in New York and eating out of the carton!

Just one of of my many ';must dos';, alongwith getting a pretzel and a hot dog!

Pretty near all the Chinese delivery places will deliver your rice in a carton like that. The veg and meat dishes or whatever will be in foil or plastic containers.

Had a look at previous thread- glad i am not the only person in the Uk who has always wanted to do this!

Thanks also for the link- may not go for the take out bag- bit wacky for me but some of the other bags are really nice and i fancy bringing home something different.
