Deep Dish Pizza???

Are there any places for Deep Dish Pizza here in NYC?? Beside Uno%26#39;s. Thanks.

Deep Dish Pizza???

Not that I have ever seen. You know you are opening yourself up for loads of abuse asking such a sacreligious question on the NYC board : )

Deep Dish Pizza???

If you mean Chicago-style (made w/cornmeal, parbaked, and all that), I can%26#39;t think of any. But there are places that serve Sicilian pizzas, which are thick-crusted, such as

Artichoke: http://www.artichokepizza.com/

and Di Fara: http://www.difara.com/

Yes I know. I am born and raised here and NYC pizza is the best however my girlfriend and I are craving some deep dish. I will still remain loyal to NYC pizza. :)

I am looking forward to some NYC pizza.

I think you can get that at Pizza Hut. Never having set foot in a Pizza Hut, though, I can only tell you what I have seen on television. The very idea of a Pizza Hut in NYC seems unnatural and wrong, rather like the idea of looking for slot machines and craps tables in a transept at Chartres ...

i don%26#39;t know the name of the place but maybe google mail order chicago pizza- we saw this whole thing on one of the food shows- they overnight it to you and you bake it at home--got rave revues. good luck!! and eat deep dish even in NYC!!!!!

Downtown there is Big Al%26#39;s Chicago Style Pizza.

But you%26#39;re in New York, so why not have a corner slice of NY sicilian style pizza.

Just saw really cheap flights advertised to Chicago....

ok so where%26#39;s an exceptional sicilian slice??

As I said above, Artichoke and Di Fara both have very good Sicilian pizza.
