Cooperstown Restaurants and Bars

6 of us (45 yrs old college girlfriends) are going to Cooperstown in mid April. Can anyone suggest a couple of good restaurants for us? We are not looking for a real fancy restaurant, just a nice restaurant with wide variety of reasonably priced ($15-25/entree) food. Also are there any fun casual bars that play decent music to hang out at and have a couple of beers? Thanks.

I%26#39;d recommend the Doubleday Cafe- great beer and very varied menu. In your price range. It%26#39;s on Main Street about midway.

Second choice: Tunnicliff Inn, the lower downstairs tavern-- a bit more local flavor. off Main st near the little corner park.

Finally -- not in Cooperstown, but in Richfield Springs-- Park View Lounge. Totally local, some nights packed and energetic, some nights quiet and a place for local news. One night in the summer it was packed by the local opera help who came over after the Opera let out. They held a Karaoke night like I%26#39;ve never heard before.
