FuerzaBruta/Blue Man Group?

Hi all!

I am busy (and once again very excited!)planning our annual trip to NYC in June:) My hubby is not a great friend of musicals so I am trying to figure out something else.

Last year we were lucky enough to get tickets to Aretha Franklin`s concert in RCMH. What a wonderful experience! We also went to see a basketball match in MSG and that was fun too, especially for hubby. I mostly enjoyed the atmosphere!

What do you know about these two shows: La FuerzaBruta and The Blue Man Group? Is there anything for a midaged couple or are these shows only for kids? Any thoughts or suggestions?

I think either of them would be fun. Personally, I prefer Fuerza Bruta.

Both are limitless in what age will enjoy it. I have not seen Blue Man Group but have been to boys night La FuerzaBruta which was very thrilling.

While I know you will not have the same crowd and atmosphere as boys night at La FuerzaBruta - I am betting the the general show is amazing as well.

It is certainly something different that you would never expect and heart beating.

Wow..I was reading this post....this looks like a fantastic show..i will be in NY with my 2 teenagers almost 16 would this be appropriate for them, because I would love to go see this.

Never saw FuerzaBruta but the website looks pretty cool.

Blue Man Group is a fantastic show. Very loud, very energetic show. Lots of fun. The front rows are the best seating - the ';poncho section.'; We saw Blue Man group years ago in NYC, then saw the show in Las Vegas about 5 years ago. Then last year, we saw the Blue Man Group Rock Star tour show at the Nassau Colisseum.

Didn%26#39;t see Fuerza Bruta yet but by coincidence I%26#39;m co-ordinating a 22-pedicab tour to take people to it tonight.

Blue Man Group is the kind of fun you get when you really can%26#39;t figure out where things are going, but it%26#39;s great fun no matter what they do. From spray-painting with their mouths, to eating Cap%26#39;n Crunch without bowl or spoon, or seeing how many marshmallows fit in your mouth, to --

Oh! Don%26#39;t arrive late for the show, or they will stand around you and stare at you until you%26#39;re settled in.

I saw both shows on my trip at new year and thought both were great, blue man is fantastic and would def watch again where as fuerza bruta kind of leaves you thinking what was all that but in a good way, its very off the wall but great to watch and be a part of. if you cant decide do both!
