Looking for parking options for LaGuardia

Hi -

I%26#39;m flying out of LaGuardia on Friday, and will be leaving my car for 4 days. I%26#39;m looking for inexpensive (keyword!) parking options. I once parked my car at the Crowne Plaza, and that was fine, but right now with things the way they are, I hate the thought of spending around around $80 on parking.

Are there any less expensive options?

I live in Mass., but am from Queens so am very familiar with getting around in NY and Queens.

Thanks for any suggestions!

Some hotels do sleep and park options where they bundle the parking with a nights stay - great for early departures - it%26#39;s a popular way to park at airports here in the UK and can be no more than parking alone.

Try the Pan American who do a free (or low cost) shuttle to both LGA and JFK.

they may let you use their parking lot without a room too?

My only other suggestion in finding a garage is to map the airport on

maps.google.com

then use the ';search nearby'; function for garages. It lists quite a few but I think $20/day is probably the best you%26#39;ll do unless one of them has a coupon for a free day or something like that.

Hi - thanks for both your ideas.

I called the Pan American, and they do not offer Park and Fly options if you do not stay there.

I tried the Google Maps and got a bunch of options - that is really helpful! (and I didn%26#39;t know about the Search Nearby option on that - great!).

At least I%26#39;ve got some options now...

Just fyi, I hear the parking lot at LGA is very small and gets filled quickly so it%26#39;s good to have options and maybe even a reservation if any of them do that. If not, make sure to allow yourself plenty of time to find parking so you don%26#39;t miss your plane.
