Looking for a great Italian restaurant and a great steak restaurant around the theatre district. Love great wine and atmosphere. price range is no option...if worth it. Thank you in advance for the excellent advice you guys always give!

For a great steak-- try Ben Benson%26#39;s but I would not

go before the theater if that is your plan. Ben

Benson%26#39;s is an event not a quickie meal

We plan on eating after the show...

Look at Ben Benson%26#39;s website. They are on 52nd st

I don%26#39;t know how long you are going to be in the city

but in thinking about it, I would not do a place like

Ben Bensons the same night as the theater. You probably could do the italian place but hold off on

Ben Benson%26#39;s for its own night. It is that good if

you really like steak.

AJ Maxwells is a very nice Steakhouse on 48th St. in the theater district.

For Italian after the show, I%26#39;d have a look at Becco:

If Becco is crowded as it often is as it is the favorite of many tourists right now, there are a

number of good places on the same street which is known

as restaurant row. If you can get a reservation at

Becco that would be fine.

I looked at the website for Becco...looks great! Still in the air on the steak restaurant....My husband prefers steak...i would rather lamb or something along those lines...so would Ben Benson still be an option or is there another place that might be better?

Everything at Ben Benson%26#39;s is good. Look on line with

their menu or even better call them and inquire about

your favorites. They do have other things besides

steak.
