Wicked: where is the best place to get tickets?
Wicked has yet to be sold at half-price, so far as I know, and is undoubtedly sold out for the week before Easter since there are so many vacationers arriving then. So, the only way you%26#39;ll be able to get seats is to buy tickets -- at an inflated price (starting at usually $125/seat) -- from a ticket broker.
If you%26#39;re not put off by those prices, use Broadway Box:

Wicked: where is the best place to get tickets?
Wicked is still wildly popular, so I would forget about the half-price tickets. With that known, you can buy tickets on a number of sites including the actual Wicked website. For nice, non-partial view seats, I would plan on $150 starting price.(per ticket)
Book on line. It%26#39;s an amazing show. You won%26#39;t get half price for Wicked. Book now. Go see it and have a great time!
Ticketmaster is the official ticket service for Wicked. I checked their system for tickets on April 9 %26amp; 10 and found single seats available but no pairs. At this late date, you won%26#39;t get the best seats, but you might be able to get seats at %26#39;face value%26#39; (plus a service charge) if you don%26#39;t need multiple seats together (if you need more than one ticket, call Ticketmaster rather than using the website; you don%26#39;t want to buy a single seat and then discover that you can%26#39;t get a second one).
If you want a better location or two or more seats together, you%26#39;ll have to deal with a broker and pay more (possibly much more) than face value. One other possibility (but your odds aren%26#39;t good): there is a lottery before each performance where people win the right to buy seats in the front row for $26.50. See playbill.com/celebritybuzz/article/82428.html for details.
Try the lottery. On our last trip we won lottery tickets to Rent :)
Some shows sell cheap standing room only (SRO) tickets if the show is sold out. I don%26#39;t know if Wicked is one or not, but, you can check.
There%26#39;s a lottery for Wicked, but no standing room:
Lottery Rush: Each day, two hours prior to show time (11:30 AM for 2 PM matinees; 12:30 PM for 3 PM matinees; 4:30 PM for 7 PM performances; 5:30 PM for 8 PM performances), people who present themselves at the Gershwin Theatre box office will have their names placed in a hat. Thirty minutes later, names will be drawn for 28 front-row seats at $26.50 each. This lottery is available only in-person at the box office, with a limit of 2 tickets per person, cash only. Photo-ID.

Thank you so much everyone for taking the time to help me out.
I will definitely do my best to get to see this show as it sounds really brilliant!
I may however, have to go on my own as my family say they don%26#39;t like shows.....
Well, I will try to get organized in sorting this all out now.
Take care everyone

Actually, Fiona, it%26#39;s good news that not everyone else in your family is dying to go. I had looked for tickets for all 3 of you, but now, you can take advantage of the availability of one of those single seat tix that jensdad found :-)
Don%26#39;t give this a miss just because they want to pass it up!
