Help! Need place to stay on Long Island

I%26#39;ll be flying into McArthur tommorrow (Saturday)to pick up a truck I bought online and then will be returning with it back to Michigan. Any recommendations on where to stay near there that%26#39;s nice, clean, and fairly reasonable? I want to head out early Sunday to NYC to see some sights before continuing on.

Drive to Queens and stay at the Pan American. They have parking.

Remember: NO RIGHT TURN ON RED in the five boroughs of NYC (which means Queens, Brooklyn, The Bronx, Brooklyn and Staten Island) - unless deisgnated by a sign.

So, after you cross the border of Nassau County, obey the red lights!

Help! Need place to stay on Long Island

I just tried to check rates and possibly make reservations online but it wouldn%26#39;t allow me to...said I had to call?

I guess it%26#39;s not far enough in advance.

So, nu? Give %26#39;em a call, let us know how it is.

It%26#39;s probably too late but you should realize the Pan American hotel is no where near Islip airport. You don%26#39;t explain where you want to ';see sights';- on Long Island or in NYC. If you want to stay near Islip, there%26#39;s a La Quinta suites that%26#39;s good.

That%26#39;s ok nywhiz- you probably have totally confused

him with the McArthur-Islip transition. We knew but

will he-- I enjoy your posts and as a transplanted

Bostonian (8 years) I continue to learn about the city.
