discount tickets in June for 39 Steps

I see on the BroadwayBox.com website there is a discount for the ';39 Steps'; play until the end of May. Unfortunately I%26#39;ll be in NYC in the 2nd week of June (not that it%26#39;s unfortunate to be in New York :-)but you know what I mean.)

Any ideas on whether or not there will be another discount offer for June? Thanks!!

If you are a true Hitchcock fan, you might be disappointed.

It%26#39;s a slapstick comedy show based on the Hitchcock movie. It%26#39;s not a serious retelling of the film. My mom loved it, and it has lots of hammy jokes and quite impressive physical comedy (which I don%26#39;t normally like), but it%26#39;s as if the 3 Stooges or Weird Al Yankovic directed this play.

What are your interests?

No guarantees, but I would think that there is a good chance that another offer will surface. If nothing shows up by the beginning of June, you should still be able to buy tickets at full price (unless you are buying for a big group). The show has been playing long enough that I doubt it will suddenly start selling out routinely.

Thanks for your replies! I am a Hitchcock fan, but not a purist, so the comedy part wouldn%26#39;t bother me. I like slapstick/farce kind of comedy, but I%26#39;m more of a Marx Brothers fan than a 3 Stooges fan, lol.

I was planning on seeing 2 broadway shows and I already have my ticket for South Pacific, so I%26#39;m thinking of trying something completely different for the 2nd one. But apart from 39 Steps, my other top choices are West Side Story or Wicked.

I%26#39;ll have to ponder this some more, or maybe see 3 shows instead of 2! :-)

I saw tickets the other day at TKTS booth the other

day but that is a day to day thing. I saw it a few

weeks ago. My wife loved it I was less enthusiastic

about it. If you haven%26#39;t seen a lot in other places

and you will be here during the week, I would take

my chances on TKTS and see what you can see or go

with BroadwayBox.com which is also quite good
