Easter Weekend

My Hubby and I will be in NYC over the Easter weekend. I did not know it was Easter when we made our plans. I am a bit worried that stores or attractions will be closed, plays will be canceled etc. (I read on line that Macys is closed.) We only have this one weekend to explore and play in your great city. Do you know if things close on Sunday becouse of Easter? We had planed to take a Highlights tour on Saturday and then go back on Sunday to tour a couple of the bigger things like Top of the Rock.

Some stores may decide to close for Easter Sunday but all will be open on Sat. and I don%26#39;t think any of the sightseeing venues will be closed.

No more is going to be closed for Easter than it would be for Rosh Hashanah, which has never seemed to trouble anyone.

Do you know if there are any special things going on for Easter? Parades or anything in the Park? It might be fun to see a parade.

Macy%26#39;s is definitely closed Easter Sunday; in years past, the other major department stores in Manhattan -- Saks, Lord %26amp; Taylor and Bloomingdale%26#39;s -- have been closed as well, but perhaps they%26#39;ll decide to open their doors for business this year.
