Getting to the Financial District from Newark

We are coming back to NYC! We are staying at the Gild Hall Hotel in May for my birthday. Last time, we got a bus from Newark into the City, but can not remember which one, can any please help ? - which one is it and also how far does it go, last time we got off just off 42nd Street, as we stayed in the Helmsley. Thanks

The PATH train goes from Penn Station Newark directly to the World Trade Center. It takes 22 minutes and runs 24 hours a day, seven days per week. Here is the PATH site, including a schedule of service.

By the way, Gild Hall is a great funky little hotel, I absolutely love the lobby. It%26#39;s on a quiet street downtown, but within easy reach of both subway and downtown attractions.

I just realised that this route may work for me, how%26#39;s the PATH for taking onboard luggage? We travel pretty light, we%26#39;ll probably have 2 small to mid-size cases. Do all routes leave from the same central station area at Newark?

Forget my last post, I just figured out it would involve 4 changes from EWR to my final destination.

I don%26#39;t think I%26#39;d be very popular with my better half who dreams of arriving in Limo comfort.

I%26#39;ll compromise %26amp; take the NJ Transit to Penn station %26amp; jump in a taxi from there!
