Grand Hyatt Hotel rooms

Going to NYC and staying at the Grand Hyatt I keep reading the reviews regarding the rooms and I am getting mixed messages regarding some being renovated and some still old. Is this true? Usually when I check in I request new rooms did anyone out there have this experience...?

I%26#39;m not aware of any rooms that haven%26#39;t been renovated recently. I%26#39;ve known a number of people who have stayed there, everybody has had a fresh and crisp guest room.

The hotel is very busy and the rooms are in constant use so it isn%26#39;t uncommon to see a few signs of wear but nothing that will look like you%26#39;re in the 1980%26#39;s.

If you want to revisit the 1970%26#39;s the Hyatt Regency Buffalo will take you back. 1965 called and it really wants it theme back. Sad.

I was just there last month. The room was very nice and spacious. We were very pleased.

I%26#39;m good friends with the ';technology concierge'; (ie computer guy) at the Grand Hyatt.....very nice hotel, well appointed. I think only the most high maintenance of guests (like spoiled celebrities) would have a problem. Very customer service oriented and very, very.....well.......grand. You should have an excellent time. Ask for Dana if you need computer help, he%26#39;s a sweetie :-)
