Grayline hop on hop off 48 hs starting when?

Yes, that%26#39;s certainly a stupid question but better ask before I make my plans...

We are getting to NYC on Wed noon and I was considering the 48 hs all loops tour of Grayline HOHO...

Does the 48 hours start counting on Wed afternoon, when I use it for first time, lasting till Friday afternoon or the 48 hs should be read as ';2 days'; meaning Wed and Thu and then I can%26#39;t use it on Friday?

The 48 hours start when you buy the timed ticket so Wed noon to Friday noon but know that the loops do not run 24 by 7 - last uptown leaves around 5 and last downtown leaves around 6 - night loops are not hop on hop off - last brooklyn is around 4

Its a great overview but make sure you have a MetroCard for times when you aren%26#39;t going where the bus is going
