Mets vs Yankees tickets

Does anyone know when the subway series tickets go on sale? The Mets website says the date is TBD, but I thought I would ask just incase someone out there had the inside track.

Thanks-

Have you looked on the Yankees%26#39; website? Their tickets went on sale earlier today, apparently:

I don%26#39;t think I was clear-I want to see the game at Citi field.

So, you want to see the Mets lose at home. These tickets are very difficult to get. Best way is through stub hub, or some other ticker broker.

I belive the post above should read, '; so you want to see the Yanks loose away';

reality is--the Yankees havent%26#39; done anything recently that gives them the right to brag or attempt to lord over the Mets.

And at least we won%26#39;t have two stadiums sitting there come opening day!

Was Shea Stadium demolished, or did it fall apart and collapse under it%26#39;s own volition. I%26#39;ve always thought that the Mets needed a new stadium as Shea was an absolute eyesore. In contrast, the Yankees did not need a new stadium, as the old one was glorious.

The Yankees decision was nothing more than corporate greed. The average fan, like me, has fewer seats. However, the large corporations virtually had the stadium designed for them. I used to go to about a dozen games a year. Now, it%26#39;s too expensive.

Fan rivalry aside, the individual game tickets for Mets%26#39; games have already gone on sale. The Yankee series tickets it appears, are already sold out. So, your only option seems to be third party suppliers. The best bet is stubhub.

FYI: I just did a search for a subway series game at Yankee stadium and asked for best available seats. I was offered seats in the front row of section 11 for.................................................................$1050.00 each!

That%26#39;s not including the $26 convenience charge. That%26#39;s through the Yankees website.

I will keep watching the Mets website and maybe I can get lucky. I need 4 tickets so a third party is going to add up fast. My husband wants to make it to all the stadiums and the Mets/Yankees game happens to fall when we are in NY.

I believe those games are sold out. Therefore, checking on the Mets%26#39; website won%26#39;t be fruitful. Your only option may be a third party site such as stubhub-and yes, you%26#39;ll pay a premium for those tickets.
