MTA Bus Question?

Do buses usually make stops at every street or only at certain designated stops?

MTA Bus Question?

Only at designated stops but these occur every 2 or three blocks. The HOHO buses only stop at route sightseeing stops.

ALL buses stop and go with red lights and green lights but you can only get on or off at designated stops.

Taxis let you off where you want but they cost a whole lot more.

MTA Bus Question?

If you are on the right bus and know where you are

going you will never have to walk very far. A

General rule with a few notable exceptions would be

to take trains up and down town on major avenues and

take buses crosstown on major streets.

If a bus has the word LIMITED above the front window, it stops every 15-20 blocks or so, rather than every 3 blocks.

If you%26#39;re worried that you%26#39;ll miss your destination, don%26#39;t be.

Ask the bus driver, ';do you stop at...'; Even I do, and I take buses frequently.

Thanks everyone. This helps alot.
