After reading several posts on transportation recommendations...I have narrowed it down to a few. I have read mixed reviews on all of them and so I need help making final decision!
I called Strusser%26#39;s and received a quote of 175 all inclusive for limo pickup from Laguardia to Marriott Marquis. This includes champagne.
Carmel Limo did not give an inclusive quote..it was 124 plus 5 dollar toll fee and 10 dollar parking fee and a 20% tip. We wanted champagne, but they do not do that...???
The other one called... Accord --seemed way too cheap which made me nervous.. $120...all inclusive except for champagne...add an extra 50 for that. (White Star seems pricey for champagne!)
Another reason I am wanting advice on this topic is the last time, our ride was very late picking us up at the Marriott.
Thanks in advance for advice!

All State is another limo service that%26#39;s been frequently recommended here.

Nothing wrong with accord cinemiller,
I used them last november from the wellington to newark,10 seater stretch, very clean, pleasant driver, free beer!!$95 for everything,
I just called Bermuda Limo and they gave a great price..146 tip included... champagne extra... i tell them how much i want to spend on it and they get it for me...
i also read great reviews on them...any comments on them?
How many people are you calling for? These quotes seem AWFULLY high! Is the champagne a necessity?
3 people...my husband, myself and my mother. We are treating her for her birthday...so champagne is a must! haha
Bermuda Limo is defintely one of the most reasonable...just hope they are timely and polite?
LGA is very close to Manhattan-the closest of the 3 NYC area airports. A taxi is ~ $35 including toll and tip. These prices are totally outrageous and I think totally unnecessary. If you were coming from JFK or Newark, I could understand the splurge and the prices. From LGA this is highway robbery IMO. You won%26#39;t have enough time to quaff the champagne. Have it on the plane and save the money toward a nice meal or a theater ticket. Honestly.
If you absolutely have to do this, Carmel is NOT the co. to use. They are known for cheap and cheerful and you%26#39;re bound to be disappointed with whatever car/driver they send. If you don%26#39;t want to travel in a taxi, I%26#39;d get a luxury sedan from dial 7 and call it a day for $36 plus toll and tip.

How long is the ride from Laguardia? We want a comfortable ride...not cramped up in a taxi... A celebration! She is almost 60 and never been to a city like New York. So would a town car be that much cheaper than a limo.?...No taxi...We are wanting it to be really special.
Dial 7%26#39;s rate page shows that the smallest stretch limo will be more than twice the cost of a luxury sedan (e.g., Lincoln Town Car). It%26#39;s less than 10 miles between LGA %26amp; the Marriott Marquis; travel time, of course, varies depending on traffic %26amp; I hesitate to give you an approximate time for the trip since I%26#39;ve only taken cabs/car service between midtown east %26amp; LGA.
I just booked a limo with Burmuda for the ride there and a sedan for the return ride. Thank you all for your recommendations. I know my mom will be thrilled!
We used Strussers from JFK to Midtown East, East 50th street to be exact. It was an all inclusive price of $129, with a meet and greet service for a sedan car.
Have a wonderful time!
