Domini who?
She%26#39;s a well respected chef and business woman in an Irish context.
She has put this list together which includes Lombardi鈥檚 Pizzeria %26amp; the Tuck Shop - two places to put at the top of the list for any incoming Irish tourists to New York.
Whether or not you agree, two out of ten ain%26#39;t bad, in a global context.

Well done NY!

Never in million years could you have convinced me that Tuck Shop (and Lombardi%26#39;s, but that%26#39;s another story) could be on a list with Taillevent, the Fat Duck, and Chez Panisse. I can only assume that her well-respected business in Ireland is as an importer of controlled substances ;)

Tuck Shop and Tetsuya? They are the opposite ends of the Australian culinary spectrum!
(and I think DUB has better pies - www.dubpies.com)
There%26#39;s a thought - maybe she is - would her background in bagels have anything to do with this suggestion?
:)
There was another article on the Times praising NY%26#39;s jazz scene, but I resisted posting it because I disliked the hotel that it recommended.
I don%26#39;t know these places, but I suppose positive press is only good when it%26#39;s accurate.
Chez Panisse, fine- but how many American restaurants has this woman actually sampled?
Um, don%26#39;t know the answer to that one Alice, but clearly just the two in New York:)
She%26#39;s from the Bahamas, so I presume that she%26#39;s managed to make it there every so often.
(Now I%26#39;m suspicious of the Bahamas choice!)

Wow ..... and to think that for all these years I always presumed Lombardi%26#39;s was where ..... %26#39;old Foodies go TO die%26#39;.
Quick question:
Where do old real-estate agents go to...you know...lay down for good?
LOL ..... hey Matte that%26#39;s easy ..... the %26#39;Overlook Hotel%26#39; ..... of course!
